"With the exhibition entitled Human Conditions humaines, Intimate Portraits intimes the Nederlands Photomuseum presents
11 photographers in the ICA in Dunaújváros on the theme of the portrait (December 2004/January 2005). The exhibition
assembles a number of series and projects by talented, mostly young Dutch photographers, who in their work are
preoccupied with the individuality, vulnerability and worth of human beings."

"In Dunaújváros Hongarije presenteert het Nederlands fotomuseum de tentoonstelling Conditions Humaines,
Portraits Intimes. De tentoonstelling brengt een aantal fotoseries en -projecten bij elkaar van talentvolle, veelal jonge, Nederlandse
fotografen die zich in hun werk bezighouden met de
individualiteit, de kwetsbaarheid en de waardigheid van mensen: Céline van Balen,
Wout Berger en Noor Damen, Koos Breukel, Rineke Dijkstra, Romy Finke, Rince de Jong, Bertien van Manen, Hellen van Meene, Corinne Noordenbos
en Albert van Westing. Zij kiezen in veel gevallen hun eigen leven, eigen ervaringen en hun directe sociale omgeving als vertrekpunten
